Custom built Tiny Home

There is something so charming about a simply designed tiny house on wheels with a smokestack chimney and a corrugated metal roof. Such is the case with this 8’ x 20’ THOW listed for less than $50,000. Built on a tandem axle trailer, the house is vinyl-clad with a bottom half echoing the tin roof. It has just one entry consisting of a full pane glass as well as 5 windows to allow sunlight to pour in during the day and the moon bathe the interior each night. The actual trailer has brand new Goodyear Endurance Tires, four new wheels, and two new axles with electric brakes (as of March 2020). The layout of this charmer is simple in that it is primarily open with a private bath and two lofts. Upon entry you are at the living area complete with a couple of cabinets and floating shelves that surround the mounted television. Sitting room has a custom built couch for two or three people and a hammock chair swing. Further through the house is the kitchen and dining area. The dining table is a drop down table that seats two comfortably and functions well as either a place to eat or a place to work. There is also a full size refrigerator in the kitchen, cabinets, a unique countertop made of 2” x 4” cuts, and a corner sink. There is also an RV stove and oven for full-size cooking. Moving back through the house and next to the couch is the Eccotemp on-demand hot water heater, which provides hot water indefinitely to the whole house including the bathroom found at the opposite end of the tiny house. The bathroom is appropriately-sized with a water trough tub (shower pan) surrounded by white subway tile, a sink, and a Cinderella incinerator toilet. There is also a small sink above a vanity cabinet with a mirror above. Overall the bathroom is a great space for both function and relaxation. While there are two sleeping lofts, they are very different. The first is accessible by a ladder and is open to the rest of the house. It features a skylight window and offers a comfortable night. The second is an enclosed loft, accessible by steps leading up from the couch. It is a comfortable and private space. When it is hot outside there is a window unit AC in the open loft as well as a fan on the ceiling of the living room. When it is cold out, the house comes equipped with a wall heater. The flooring throughout this quaint tiny house was updated in June 2020 to a high quality vinyl planking. Truth be told, this tiny house on wheels won’t last long on Tiny House Listings.
